2011 Speakers

Introducing some of 2011's speakers at the People Without Limits Summer celebration.

Eric Delve

Eric Delve was born in 1942 in Wimbledon, South London.  In 1963 he married Pat. Forty-seven years, six children and eight grandchildren later, they are still together: ‘A miracle of grace on her part,’ he says.

He loves reading, listening to music, crosswords, good red wine, walking the dogs,  books about the World Wars, and is an avid ‘Goon Show’ fan.

He became a full-time Evangelist in 1972 leading many missions under the title ‘Down to Earth’.

In 1978/1988 he studied at Trinity College Bristol then entered Parish ministry in January 1993, at St Lawrence Kirkdale, in inner-city Liverpool.  He calls it ‘The place where I relearned the power of the gospel.’

In May 1996 Eric became Vicar of St Luke’s Maidstone.  He is Founding Director of People Without Limits, the parent company of the People Without Limits Summer Celebration (formerly known as the Detling Summer Conference)

He loves what he does and feels he is ‘one of the luckiest men alive.’

He has become well known for his day conferences for men entitled.  Echoes in Eternity’.  He says, ‘The revival we have been praying for, will not happen until Christian men rise up to seize their God given destiny.’

His book ‘To Boldly Go’ was first published in 1979. ‘Amazing!’ came out in 2009. Then in 2010 ‘Live Like You Mean It’ was released by Hodder Faith followed by ‘The Billy Fidget Letters’ (co-authored by Nick battle) in 2011.

Jeff Lucas

Jeff Lucas is an international best-selling author of 19 books, and is a speaker and broadcaster. He broadcasts on weekly radio shows throughout Europe on Premier and UCB Radio in Europe and Australasia. He is a monthly contributor for Christianity Magazine and writes a daily devotional with CWR entitled Lucas on Life Every Day.
Jeff holds a pastoral teaching position at Timberline Church in Colorado, a church that has grown to 10,000 in the last 12 years. He and his wife, Kay, live in Colorado; they have two adult children.

Dary Northrop

Dary has been the Senior Pastor of Timberline Church in Fort Collins, Colorado, since November, 1986.  Prior to that, he served as a youth pastor for eight years in Colorado.  Dary received his Bible school training at Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.

Dary and Bonnie were married in 1978.  They have a son (Ryan) and two daughters (Erica and Brooke) who are now all grown up.  They enjoy family life and are thankful for many great family memories.  Dary and Bonnie work closely together and share a passion for hiking and many outdoor activities.

Dary communicates with an authentic, vulnerable style, being very transparent and real with people.  He mixes humour and Biblical truth that impacts people toward healthy changes.  He has a passion to help Pastors lead their churches in making changes that are healthy and that will lead them to be able to impact their cities.  Dary has a real love for unchurched people; he has become very involved in the community in which he lives, taking an active role in service organisations.

He loves being a husband and father and enjoys spending time with family.  Dary grew up in Colorado loving the outdoors.  His hobbies include skiing, motorcycle riding, and golfing.

Malcolm Duncan

Malcolm is the Senior Minister at Goldhill Baptist Church, Chalfont St Peter. Malcolm is passionate about the importance of Christians being “good news people” and about the importance of holding together preaching, service, advocacy, prayer and partnership so that followers of Jesus can be effective in changing the world.

Malcolm is married to Debbie, a Nurse Practitioner. They have four wonderful children - Matthew, Benjamin, Anna & Rhiodna.

Arianna Walker

Arianna Walker is the Executive Director of Mercy Ministries UK - a Christian charity providing residential support to young women struggling with eating disorders, self-harming, depression and the effects of abuse. Passionate about the Church's role in bringing hope and healing, she inspires Christians from all walks of life to reach up and to reach out.

Gerard Kelly

Gerard Kelly is co-founder, with his wife, Chrissie, of The Bless Network, an agency active in the UK, France, Croatia, Germany and Spain. Bless inspires and empowers young people to find their place in God's mission in the world. Gerard is a popular writer, speaker and poet. His latest book is a collection of 'twitturgies' - personal liturgies in 140 characters or less - and is published by Integrity Europe in 2012. Gerard and Chrissie live in Normandy, France, where Bless is developing a missional community.
